Light Meter (Lux
Meter)
Electric power is becoming expensive day by day. Many light sources
consume rated power, however deliver low light due to poor maintenance
or light intensity. This instrument helps to assess the need for betterment
of lighting conditions at the right places.
Extra or low lighting conditions, both, induce fatigue. Ready reference
manual provides with ideal illumination levels for handy comparison.
The instrument is light in weight, battery operated, handy and perfectly
mobile. It can be used anywhere by anyone without any training.
Lighting systems with different colours give impression of different
illumination levels. However, by measurement with this meter, the
correction factor as mentioned in the manual, actual illumination
level can be checked against the power consumption as one pays for
the actual performance and not for the claims of the manufacturers.
Sufficient lighting levels give feeling of space, freshness and reduce
chances of accidents.
Working environment conditions referred to in various ISO manuals,
therefore, rightly give due importance to proper lighting systems.
Workroom environment monitoring needs determination of comfortable
illumination in all areas. However, the desired optimum light intensity
varies depending on the activity being carried out in that particular
area.
Each class of activity needs different illumination level. Office
area, precision work, walkway, canteen, general lighting, night lighting
etc. need different intensities.
Since the cost of electricity is going up day by day, its effective
use is very important. Lower or higher levels both, cause fatigue.
This is very easy, ready to use instrument for checking the light
intensity. With the help of this, industry can check regularly the
levels in particular areas. Many a times sufficient lighting levels
drop down due to coating on light source and require cleaning. So
power consumption goes high for less light or generally one tends
to add more lighting as a quick remedy.
The instrument is capable of measuring light in Lux from range of
0 to 200,000 with no waiting time. The instrument is fully portable
& lightweight and is powered by pencil cells. Servicing facility
is available through us. |

Sound Level Meter
As per requirements of Environment Act and Consent conditions, industries
are required to monitor the Noise twice a day. This is also a requirement
under Factories Act for Workroom Environment Monitoring.
This state of art easy to use equipment enables on the spot measurement
of noise levels with precision.
The instrument is available with calibration certificate which is
traceable to national standards. However, it is available with built
in self calibration feature for customer end calibration.
The measurement modes have Fast & Slow Response measurements with
A & C type weighing. These correspond to Flat response a;; frequencies
and with importance to frequencies that are more sensitive to common
ear.
The equipment is serviceable in India and service contract is available.
The instrument can be sent by courier to our service centre.
The instrument operates on dry pencil cell batteries and as such is
absolutely light weight and portable.
Use of instrument needs no training. There is no routine maintenance
or consumables required. The instrument operates within normal operating
conditions.
